Terms and Conditions for Sonic Kustomz Products
Effective Date: 7th July 2025

By purchasing products from Sonic Kustomz, the customer agrees to the following terms and conditions, which govern the sale, use, and warranty of all products provided by Sonic Kustomz. Please read these terms carefully before completing your purchase. These terms are legally binding and apply to all transactions between Sonic Kustomz and the customer. Sonic Kustomz reserves the right to modify or update these terms at any time.

1. General Information
Sonic Kustomz operates on a dropship business model and does not hold stock of products on-site. Instead, products are ordered directly from third-party suppliers and shipped directly to the customer. This means that:

Sonic Kustomz does not maintain inventory, and products may be shipped directly from our suppliers or manufacturers.

Delivery times may vary depending on the product's availability and the supplier's processing times.

Sonic Kustomz provides the service of connecting customers with the right products, but we do not physically handle the items once ordered, aside from coordinating the order and customer support.

By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions in their entirety. Sonic Kustomz reserves the right to modify or update these terms at any time, effective immediately upon posting on our website or notifying the customer.

2. Pricing, Product Details, and Descriptions
Sonic Kustomz reserves the right to:

Change prices of products at any time without prior notice. The price at the time of purchase will apply to the customer's order, but prices may fluctuate before or after the order is placed.

Alter product descriptions, specifications, or details at any time without prior notice. This includes changes in features, sizes, colors, and any other relevant details.

Discontinue or replace any product at any time without notice.

In cases where products are unavailable or inaccurately priced, Sonic Kustomz reserves the right to offer alternative products, store credit, or a product of equal or greater value at its discretion. Sonic Kustomz does not offer cash refunds.

3. No Refunds for Change of Mind
Sonic Kustomz does not offer refunds for change of mind. Once an order is placed and confirmed, customers are not entitled to cancel or request a refund based on preference or regret.

However, in cases where the product is out of stock, we may offer the following alternatives:

  • Store credit for the full purchase amount.
  • Alternative products of equal or greater value.
  • Replacement of the product when back in stock, at the customer's discretion.

4. Product Warranty and Limitations

a. No Warranty for Faulty or Damaged Products if Not Professionally Installed

Sonic Kustomz provides a limited warranty for defects in materials or workmanship.

However, no warranty applies to products that have been:
Improperly installed by non-certified or non-professional installers.
  • Installed without adhering to proper wiring standards, including correct fuses, wiring gauges, and installation methods consistent with industry standards.
  • Modified, altered, or tampered with by anyone other than a certified professional installer.
To qualify for warranty coverage, the product must be installed by a certified audio shop or a certified audio installer. The customer is required to provide proof of installation from a qualified professional. Without this proof, any warranty claim will be void.

b. Proof of Installation
Customers must provide documentation from the professional installer, including:

  • Installer name and business details.
  • Date of installation.
  • Detailed proof of installation, including photos of the installation process and confirmation of proper wiring and fuses.
  • Failure to provide such documentation will void any warranty claim.

c. No Warranty for Damaged Products During Shipping

Sonic Kustomz takes great care in packaging and shipping products. However, once the product is handed over to the courier, the responsibility for safe delivery lies with the courier company. Sonic Kustomz will not be responsible for any damage during shipping.

If the product is damaged during shipping:
  • Contact the courier company directly to file a claim.
  • Retain the original packaging for filing a damage claim.
  • Provide proof of shipping damage (e.g., photos of the damage, packaging) when filing a complaint with the courier.

Sonic Kustomz will assist customers in communicating with the courier but will not be liable for shipping-related damage.

5. Returns, Exchanges, and Warranty Claims

a. Return Shipping Costs for Faulty or Damaged Items
  • If an item is found to be defective or damaged upon arrival, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the product to Sonic Kustomz or the designated repair center.
  • However, if the product is found to be faulty due to a manufacturing defect, Sonic Kustomz will refund the cost of return shipping to the customer via the same payment method used for the original purchase.

Return shipping must be arranged via a traceable method, and customers must provide the relevant tracking information to Sonic Kustomz.

b. Defective Products
In the event that a product is defective upon arrival:

  • Customers must contact Sonic Kustomz within 7 days of receiving the product to report any defects.
  • Sonic Kustomz will provide instructions for returning the product and may require the customer to provide proof of defect (e.g., photos, video of the defect).

Sonic Kustomz reserves the right to have the item examined by a third-party technician to verify the defect or damage.

Upon verification, we may, at our discretion, repair the product, replace it, or offer store credit for the amount paid.

c. No Cash Refunds
Sonic Kustomz does not offer cash refunds for any reason. In cases where a refund is deemed necessary (e.g., defective product), store credit will be issued instead. Sonic Kustomz also reserves the right to replace the product or provide an alternative product of the same value.

d. Out of Stock Products
  • If an item purchased is out of stock, Sonic Kustomz reserves the right to:
  • Offer an alternative product of equal or greater value, or
  • Issue store credit for the full purchase amount.

6. Installation and Use of Products
a. Proper Installation and Usage
  • The customer agrees that it is their responsibility to ensure the products are installed and used correctly. Sonic Kustomz strongly recommends that all products be installed by a certified audio installer or a professional car audio shop.

  • Improper installation may result in product failure, damage to the vehicle's electrical system, or voiding the warranty. Failure to follow correct installation procedures, including proper wiring, fusing, and grounding, will result in the voiding of any warranty claims.

b. Electrical System and Compatibility
  • It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the vehicle's electrical system is compatible with the products purchased from Sonic Kustomz. This includes verifying the correct power supply, grounding, fuses, and wire gauge specifications. Sonic Kustomz will not be responsible for any electrical issues or system failures resulting from incompatible installations or use.

7. Liability Limitations
a. No Liability for Improper Installation
  • Sonic Kustomz is not liable for any damages, injuries, or losses arising from improper installation of its products. This includes damage to the vehicle, electrical components, or personal injury due to incorrect installation.

b. Exclusion of Liability for Consequential Damages
  • Sonic Kustomz will not be held responsible for any consequential, incidental, or indirect damages resulting from the use, installation, or failure of its products. This includes any loss of use, loss of profits, or damage to personal property.

8. Indemnification
The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Sonic Kustomz, its employees, contractors, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:

  • The improper installation or use of the products.
  • Any injury, loss, or damage caused by the installation or use of the products.
  • Failure to adhere to the terms outlined in these Terms and Conditions.

9. Consumer Guarantees Act
Sonic Kustomz acknowledges that certain rights and remedies may apply under the Consumer Guarantees Act. Where products are not covered by the specific terms and conditions outlined in this agreement, the rights provided by the Consumer Guarantees Act (or equivalent consumer protection laws) will apply. This includes statutory rights to a remedy for defective products, where applicable, and Sonic Kustomz will adhere to these legal requirements.

10. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Sonic Kustomz reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Such changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website or through other means of notification. Customers should review these Terms periodically to ensure they are aware of any changes.

11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Sonic Kustomz operates. Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions will be resolved through arbitration or in the courts of that jurisdiction.
